I'd booked the morning off work as it was my daughters Harvest Festival. And the weather was filthy 1st thing. It was gusting up to 40mph and it was absolutely pissing it down. The kids were blown all over the place going to the church. After ploughing the field and a few tins of peas I made a snappy decision and thought, its brightening up, I've a few hours to kill, lets go to Brog.... So I did. Out on the 6.3 it was fine. Bit holey but nice sailing right into the sun at times. The wind was switching a lot. Aussie Steve was out for a blast on his brother's kit, in between his ususal flight attending somewhere. The retiree faction were all there, even Tony T got out his Starboard and had a quick blast. Neil turned up at lunch and told us all ab out his trip to Cornwall over the weekend, and as for the M5 & 4 it sounded scary going home.

I did some good turns, tried a duck and failed. But I did a lightwind wstart later on, and a few decent heli to clew, including start. So it was good practice, if not the most satisfying of blasts.....
